Buenos Aires and Provincia - Atlantic Coast - North - Centre - South

The Centre
Northwest of Buenos Aires in the provinces of Córdoba and San Luis the pampas are interrupted by several ranges of sierras. The sierra of Córdoba is one of the most popular destinations for Argentinian tourists, particularly for hiking, trekking and fishing.
In the province of Mendoza the highest peak in the world outside Asia is called Aconcagua. The route to Chile, through the Cristo Redentor tunnel is spectacular.
Amongst the highlights on the Argentinian side is the Puente del Inca, a natural stone bridge. The biggest vineyards of Argentina are situated in the province of Mendoza.
Other tourist highlights are national parks like the Valle de la Luna, the Bosque petrificado of Arrayanes.

Norte The South
In the South there is the oldest glacier of the world: Perito Moreno.
We are now in the region of the lakes, valleys and mountains. The lake Nahuel Huapi and its natural environment will seduce the visitor with its outstanding beauty.
Bariloche is the capital of the southern lake area.
Tierra del Fuego is an archipelago bounded by the Strait of Magellan in the north, Chile in the west, the Atlantic ocean in the east, and the Beagle Channel and the Atlantic ocean in the south. The Andes range across the island presents the characteristics of Patagonian steppe: the typical mountainous landscape with lakes and forests.
At the outer limit there lies a place called Ushuaia, the city at the far south of the world, which inspired Jules Vernes in his book "The Lighthouse of the End of the World".
